Welcome to Companion Animal Clinic.

As you approach the clinic, you will see our welcome sign!

Our busy front desk.

Check out our message board, and free food samples of the natural foods we recommend in our lobby.  We also have samples of other foods not out front, please ask if you'd like to try something different and all natural.  If you check under the Nutrition and Supplements menu on the left, you can find more information about the benefits of natural foods and the different brands we carry

The next two views are of our waiting area.  The wonderful pictures are done by Dr. Melick's wife, Jean.  The second picture of the waiting area shows a door that leads to our kennel on the left, and a door to one of our food/leashes and collars, rooms on the right.

A view down the hallway with our laboratory on the left and exam rooms on the right.  At the end of the hall is our surgical suite.

Our laboratory and pharmacy area.

In our laboratory area we have a scale for large dogs.  We try and get an accurate weight at each visit.  Cats and small dogs are weighed in the exam room.

Below you will begin a tour of each of our exam rooms.

Exam room one is typically used for dogs.  We have a hydraulic lift table that lowers to the floor.  This way we can put big dogs up on the table without too much effort.

Sometimes we even get dogs that think the bench is for them to sit on.

Exam room two is typically used for cats and small dogs.

The third exam room doesn't have windows, so we can darken the room to view radiographs and perform ophthalmic exams.

At the end of the hallway is our surgical suite.  We perform all dental procedures, surgeries, and some nail trims and blood draws here.

Radiology

Our bathing and kennel areas.  We have runs on the right for large dogs and dogs checked in for surgery and smaller cages on the left for hospitalized animals and pets recovering from anesthesia.

As you leave the kennel area, we have a large food room for all of our prescription diets.  We carry a wide range of prescription diets for many medical problems that are nutritionally managed.  Check under the nutrition and supplements menu on the left for more information about nutrition.
